The Shelton mattresses by Symbol are very sturdy and feel as though they're constructed with the care and quality of years long past. The Euro Box Top version of the Shelton is no exception, and is one of the better soft mattresses in the market. It offers good support, even for adults, but its euro pillow top design also provides plenty of softness and cushioning - to aid in lulling you into a deep sleep.

There's a full 4" thick of foam encasement around the coil unit providing a sort-of "wall" that keeps you from feeling motion transfer from either your partner, or your own turning in your sleep. The spring unit itself is a Symbol trademarked (and exclusive) "540 Spectrum Tri-Zone." It's a lower gauge (thicker metal) composition with an offset design that contours quite well to the body. There are 30% more coils in the middle-third of the mattress to lend more support to the hips and lumbar area of your body.

I feel that the Shelton Euro Top mattress is a great bargain and value, considering its features and superior construction. It being completely made and assembled in the United States is a plus, as well. I'd recommend this for anyone who needs great support but who wants a softer-feeling bed to fall into every night.
