Many mattress shoppers are simply looking for something similar to the mattresses that they grew up on: a long-lasting, firm and simple bed that is reasonably affordable. The Bethany Firm is all of those things and is made in the USA by Restonic Mattress.
Basic isn't always synonymous with less-than. While it's got an old fashioned heavy duty spring unit (390 Bonnell) and lacks memory foam or latex foams, the Bethany Firm also contains a high density foam layer, is crafted from state of the art engineering, and all of its foams are CertiPUR-US non-toxic.
The lack of foam encasement on this model's edges actually aids its dense foam layers in breathing better, so that you don't sleep too hot. There are two heavy duty insulator pads so that this bed provides a very stable and strong sleep surface. The Bethany Firm is a well-built mattress that is made to last and it's made available at a relatively low price.

Restonic has become very well known for both luxury mattress models and heavy duty beds. The Bethany Firm is moreso the latter and considering its likely longevity, it's quite the great value, dollar-for-dollar.
Pocketed Coil spring units are more flexible than Bonnell Coils but when you are looking for something on the firmer end of the spectrum, flexibility may take a back seat to durability and rigidity. The 390 Bonnell spring in the Bethany is a low gauge metal (thicker) and provides the sturdy feel that you may remember from mattresses long ago.
This mattress is great for anyone who is seeking a firmer sleeping surface, that will last, that is on a relatively limited budget.
