The Comfort Care Great Lakes Firm is a heavy duty mattress that is double-sided (flippable) and has handles (8) on all sides. It also has a tempered heavy duty spring and a very strong edge. The Luxury Soft Latex and a lumbar-supporting Marvelous Middle section combine for a one-of-a-kind feel!
The Comfort Care line has won numerous and consecutive awards for its quality and value. This is because it presents to you the best materials and craftsmanship for a relatively low price. All of these mattresses are built in the United States and are backed by considerably long warranties.

Another stand-out of the Award-Winning Restonic Comfort Care line, the Great Lakes Firm offers two layers of latex, high density extra firm layers, and the Marvelous Middle section that gives more support to the lumbar area of your body. That is a lot to pack into a mattress that is relatively low priced. Adding to its value, the Great Lakes has a steel-tempered coil unit and flip design.
I personally rest more easily (every last pun intended) knowing that I have a two-sided mattress. A flip mattress is what I grew up on and there's definitely something to be said about them providing more longevity. The old-school touch of having eight handles is great for aesthetics and also praticality. The foam encasement on this model seems to be stronger than that of many other models in its price range, so it has a very small amount of motion transfer or bounciness.
I'd recommend this mattress to sleepers of all kinds, especially those who sleep on their backs and on their stomachs. It's not a total brick of a feel - it's medium firm-to-firm.
The Great Lakes Firm is another Restonic mattress that is available in both standard and custom sizes.
