Many eight inch memory foam mattresses out there are a given brand's entry level model. For that reason, it seems like they are bare bones and don't feature the high quality materials and construction that I've become acquainted with, in the mattress industry. (With other makers' eight inch models, you're likely going to be dealing with hot-sleeping foams, foreign-made materials and manufacturers that you've never heard of). 

With the Grand Beach, you're not dealing with those negatives at all! It features gel memory foam to help you sleep cooler and deeper. All materials in this mattress are made in the USA. And as far as the brand goes, Sleep Inc has been around for a long time and they've become quite trusted in the sleep product industry. Additionally, I'd point out that a high quality and long-lasting mattress at around $400 (queen) is remarkably rare. Sure, there are cheaper models out there but you wouldn't be getting the quality that the Grand Beach offers.
