The "Superior" is a part of King Koil's Spine Support line. Spine Support offers some of the best values in the sleep product industry; it contains both foam and spring mattresses that are manufactured with an aim that is equally focused on comfort and cost effectiveness. As a result, the Superior is in high demand and is becoming a staple of Michigan Discount Mattress's catalog.

Symbol has combined the best CertiPur-US poly foams that they can find and utilized them in one simple mattress - the Superior. Convoluted and SuperSoft foams are the top layers that lend most of the initial comfort to the mattress. Standard Poly Foam and Support Foam provide support and firmness.

From the feedback of probably hundreds of past customers, the Superior's predecessor seems to have held up extremely well over the years. It's not an all-out 'brick' in respect to its level of feel but seems to satisfy the needs of our customers who come in shopping a firm sleep option.

The Superior - An All Foam Mattress

All-foam mattresses have become more and more popular in recent years. There are several reasons why, not just due to the fact that so many startup companies pushing the 'roll up and ship' mattresses - which are nearly all composed of different foams. There are plenty of positives that come with owning one of these mattresses and not many negatives.

Foam mattresses such as the Spine Support Superior provide a steady and firm level of support that is hard to attain in a spring unit, unless the layers take the bed to the level of 'too firm' to most sleepers. Also, these mattresses are great for kids because there is no spring unit to damage or ruin.

Lack of bounce or sway (like what one experiences in lower-cost spring mattresses) is definitely a plus. Also, the poly foam (four different types!) contained in this mattress model are inherently cooler than visco-elastic memory foam. These kinds of mattress also tend to be more affordable due to the obvious fact that they don't contain steel, which cuts down on production cost.

While side sleepers would likely enjoy this mattress just fine, the Superior is ideal for back sleepers and stomach sleepers. It's medium-to-medium-firm in feel. This is a great value that is nearly unbeatable in price!
