I'm a bit fascinated with Avena foam. It's a sort of man-made version of latex foam that seems to outperform latex: it's more durable and sleeps cooler than its naturally resourced predecessor. Also, its faster response to weight gives it less of the sinking feeling and softness that a memory foam would have. It's really a nice and supportive feel that I'm sure that we'll be seeing in more mattress manufacturers' offerings, as soon as they catch up with the technology. 

The "Specter 10" is exclusive to Michigan Discount Mattress. It's made in the USA and that's always a plus for me. Two layers of cooler sleeping, a dense and durable combination of foams and bed-in-a-box style, free shipping.
