Tranquil Pillow Top
Just like the Tranquil Plush, this mattress is made using the brand new Quad-Coil pocket spring system. In my opinion, the extra quilting and piping of the pillow top cover gives this version better, more comfortable support. You do not sink into the mattress as much but it is still very soft and the pocket coils prevent transfer of movement, giving each person their own undisturbed sleep surface.
The innovative Quad-Coil system greatly improve mattress durability by eliminating coil lean and hitching present in single coil systems. By better supporting the foam layer, they also reduce body impressions by preventing foam from falling between rows of springs.
If you really want an ultra soft mattress to sink in to then you might prefer the Tranquil Plush or Patriot but for a more balanced feel, the Tranquil Pillow Top is an outstanding value.
